Is the Conduit Method guaranteed success with Affiliate Marketing?
The Conduit Method seems like another method like Secret Affiliate Code and Googleslapper, but going by a different name.
The method is very similar to writing reviews and selling products based off of reviews written with the purpose of pre-selling or side-selling over to better products. This is an effective affiliate marketing method no matter what name it goes by…
I wrote about the review’s sites business model recently and the Conduit Method/Secret Affiliate Method is similar to that, but the difference with this method is that there’s no pre-selling here.
With the Conduit Method, you’re receiving visitors that are closer to buying than review site readers (but not by much) and all of that method is explained in the Secret Affiliate Code post.
I bought the Conduit Method in order to do a full review on it and it is by far inferior to the Googleslapper and Secret Affiliate Code products…
It’s actually laughable that this product has so much buzz, because it’s pretty much the same thing that Secret Affiliate Code is, just not as good.
And GoogleSlapper reveals the same method all over again, but with some extra details in there that neither Secret Affiliate code nor the Conduit Method provided.
Also, the recommended practice of scraping testimonials for other sites like forums and what-not is technically illegal since testimonials and forum content is the intellectual property of the person who wrote the testimonial and of the forum owner, too.

Hi Dan,
Having only bought the Conduit Method I can only comment on that. If you say that it contains the same info as the other two products mentioned (only to a lesser degree) then I’m sure it does.
As I have bought and used the info in the Conduit Method though, I will say to others out there reading this that it is good info. Maybe the other two courses Dan mentions here are better; that’s for you to decide.
All I’m saying is that if you choose to only buy one, and that one just happens to be the Conduit Method then don’t worry, you haven’t wasted your money. It may have been better spent on the two others mentioned here, but you are still getting a top product.
An additional point I’d like to make is that, while the other two mentioned may be superior, I can understand why the Conduit Method is selling so well, and why there is such a buzz about it still!
Just look at the sales pages for all three products.
The two other products in question give you an obscene amount of information just for them to try and make a sale. The Conduit Method’s sales page is short and to-the-point compared to the other two.
More to the point here, the Conduit Method only costs people $14.95 while the other two are $67 and $47 (with a monthly membership fee of $19.97 with GoogleSlapper).
I genuinely feel that this is the main reason why it is having the sort of success it is. For those out there with little or no money to spend on their online business promotions (let alone the courses to learn these promotion techniques) it is very affordable. Even before the credit crisis that the world is encountering, people would not have happily parted with $47 unless they were positive it would get them much more in return. For $14.95, people are more willing to give it a go!
I personally will be trying out the GoogleSlapper next as Dan has rated it so highly, but I feel that, with reference to the points made in this comment, it is not laughable that the Conduit Method has received so much buzz.
That just goes to show you how good a marketer Chris Rempel is. If his Conduit Method is truly inferior to the others mentioned, his marketing and copywriting abilities have easily made up for it.
Personally, I found the Conduit Method to be very helpful.

Mark,
the conduit method is a good book, no doubt, all legalities aside..
The thing that we all need to realize is that my opinion, your opinion, and others’ opinions are based on what we know or don’t know.
Had I not read the other 2 ebooks and discovered the whole “scraping testimonials” from other online sites issue, this would have most likely received a glowing review from me.
If Conduit method works for you and you like it, please don’t let me take away any enthusiasm you might have for it because I went in-depth and compared it to similar products…
Too many negative bloggers and bashers and overly enthusiastic marketers ( ever review is a glowing review…) are not giving up detailed information, therefore the review readers are being swayed by the bonuses being offered and the reviews themsevles witohut giving pause for thought.
Since the methods in all 3 ebooks are the same I’d recommend you hold on to your money and just work the method/strategy for a while.
One point some of these ebooks are missing is how to pick the right product launch to promote…some product launches are conducive to the spillover traffic needed for review sites to do well, and others are not…
That’s the all-important aspect to consider when trying to do reviews on products being launched…
Thanks,
Dan
Dan,
Your absolutely right. Picking the right product to promote is the key to a successful affiliate marketing campaign, and is something that I haven’t found in any online business course available as of yet.
As I said in my first comment, I will be trying the Google Slapper next because you rated it so highly. If it can add anything onto the things I have learnt through the Conduit Method then I can’t wait!
As I said in my previous comment, the Conduit Method is a very good guide. If Google Slapper contains more information on top of the Conduit Method then it will be money well spent.
On my way to buy it now, I can’t wait to digest the information it contains! I’m always happy to further my online business education by learning new techniques.
Thanks for your comments, and thank you for recommending the Google Slapper.

Just let me say it is both refreshing and a bit surprising to find a IM product review that is not just hype. I’m not sure if offering honest reviews is a very good short term strategy. But in the long term it has to be the way to go. If there were more legitimate product reviewers the IM world would be a better place. Would as much bogus product get sold? I suspect not. And that would push up the quality of Internet Marketing all around.
Rick,
thanks for the feedback…
There IS merit to just about any ebook if someone gets something from it, and even more value if someone applies what they learned and made money with it.
Dan
Guys – thanks for the candid review and revealing conversations – I was thinking of buying after an email from Chris – but now I will look at the other products, Googleslapper and the Secret Affiliate Code. Did anyone use these yet? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Dave.
Hi Dan,
I use the Conduit Method with great success. In regards to the legalities of scraping testimonials. Chris advises using portions of testimonials and/or quotes from user forums to avoid any legal problems. I have dozens of sites, some of them over a year old, and haven’t had any issues.
Gary
Gary, thanks for chiming in. Glad it’s working for you.
All 3 products mentioned in this post don’t seem to cover what types of products to apply these methods to, which is a shame, since that’s the missing link
I’ve seen review websites that show full Amazon comments. There are WordPress programs which pull the comments from Amazon and post them on people’s websites for them automatically.
When people write reviews on Amazon, don’t they become the property of Amazon. Kind of like when people in a studio take a photo of you but they hold the copyright.
I noticed when I looked for “best PS3 racing games” the second listing on Google is Bestcovery.com. If you click on a link to one of the games, there are customer reviews coming directly from Amazon.
I personally liked Chris’ Conduit Method. I never bought the other two, but just like someone else mentioned, the price for the Conduit Method sure is better.
