My best affiliate isn’t a household name, nor does he get a lot of attention..
You won’t see his testimonial on dozens of sales pages, either.
He’s very close to retiring from his 6-figure full-time job.
He already has a good foundation for earning a great income online.
Would you like to know how he does this?
Read on…
Naturally, he has a decent- sized list, and he’s a very personable fellow.
He understands how business works and he’s doing something that a lot of people just don’t understand:
“Sell stuff that sells well, but don’t sell junk products”.
If someone thinks that they’re going to set up a 7 Dollar Mall and a ClickBank Mall for the low, low sum of XXX numbers of dollars and then they’re gonna be rich???
Not…gonna…happen.
However, people like buying that stuff and it makes for a decent looking site.
I don’t think those sites are going to convert well for people, but it’s still something that people are happy to buy, over and over again.
And that’s Secret #1 to marketing: Sell feel-good products that sell well.
Now, for Secret #2
Secret #2 is if/when you find a product that contains some very useful information and has a pretty good sales page, you promote the heck out of it. The IM Toolkit is one such product like that.
When my Super Affiliate realized how much value was in the IM Toolkit, he got excited about the product, his enthusiasm showed in his marketing efforts, and he did really well with it. He also mailed more than once to his list aobut this, and that’s important, too.
Repetition: Most marketers are too scatter-brained and overloaded with projects to remember what sold well for them in the past. Sometimes I’d tell someone that mailed out for the IM Toolkit how things were going, and they’d ask me:
“Who are you again? what was your product?” soon to be followed by:
“Oh, right, hey, how you doing, I gotta mail out for that again, it sold really well, people liked it, too. Where’s the affiliate’s section for your product?”
They don’t even remember what made them money in the past, even though it did really well for them!
Now, back to SuperAffiliate Guy.
He sells people the feel-good products, and when he finds something that is a combination of useful information and feel-good purchasing, he runs with that for a few weeks.
They know what people want to buy
SuperAffiliates believe in the products they’re promoting
They take massive action, not just one-time action, when they do things.
He’s personable, polite, and knows when to take massive action on something.
He stands behinds products he’s really excited about and doesn’t just mail out once for it, and move on.
He’s about to become my Number One affiliate for one of my other big projects, too. The project is a membership shite, and
the affiliate commission structure is 2-tiered and incentivized, with a very low attrition rate. At some point point he’ll be making 5-7k/month promoting just this site alone.
And they get rewarded in the long run, too. It is not uncommon for Super Affiliate Marketers to get special affiliate commissions thrown their way since they deliver so many sales every time.
One last thing that Super Affiliates do is offer bonuses. They offer a free membership or a free product to entice a reader to buy something they’re promoting. I’ve done this before, and it works.
