This is probably the Best Online Marketing Tip I ever received, however there’s a certain disclaimer I want to add also.
Every single person trying to achieve success or enjoying success with their business is at different stages with their business.
Therefore some advice goes over your head, some of if sticks because it’s suitable for where you are right now, and some of it is beneath you.
For me, the following marketing tip was the Best Online Marketing Tip that I had ever received because it was effective, and quite suitable for what my business really needed at that time.
The tip was to properly launch, or re-launch one of my first Information Products called the IM Toolkit.
I’d written this ebook before but it didn’t have the proper design or sales page for it at the time, so what I learned from this was:
- How to write better copy
- How to get JV partners
- How to make sales page look professional with quality graphics and design work
The lesson:
Due to my isolationist nature (foolish), I wasn’t getting enough exposure for my product, but it was much easier for me to get exposure for it when other marketers were mailing out for it.
It also increased my income because I would also promote the products of those who promoted mine, thereby adding more exposure for them as well.
Kind of a win/win situation there.
The Best Online Marketing Tip is to learn how to properly launch a product for sale.
You have to learn how to write the ebook, convert it from Word document to a PDF, and protect the content of the PDF, security-wise.
Even if your launch bombs out and fails miserably, you still need to know how to get graphics made for you or do them yourself, write sales page copy, and get JV partners.
I know I’m repeating myself here, but all of those are truly valuable things to learn how to do because:
JV partners are sources of instant targetted traffic, and can be ever-present and automated, too. So, if you learn how to get JV partners then you know how to get the highest converting traffic ever, and it’s merely a people skill you need to develop, that’s it.
Copywriting, man I gotta tell you…. learning copywriting is a never-ending process but it is something that affects each and every aspect of your business.
Were I a bit better at copywriting right now, perhaps this post would be selling you something instead of merely blogging content.
Anyway, what other skill do you know that can increase your email open rates, improve customer service, improve your blogging, sales conversions, PPC marketing and more?
Right…. copywriting is involved in all those areas, so when launching a new product learning to write copy or hiring someone to do it for you is an important task to learn.
Also, I mentioned customer service above, well some it’s much more professional-looking to have a help desk url on the bottom of your sales page in cae people have questions about your product.
And when you do get questions about your product it will help incease your conversions when you answer those questions in your sales copy, thereby reducing time spent answering tickets.
The list of benefits really does go and and on here, which is why the Best Online Marketing Tip was learn how to launch an information product properly…
