Hey Dan

Great blog and you are now my 'go to guy' for reviews and solid IM info.

One of the things that I can't seem to find anywhere, well at least nothing structured, is a form of blueprint that outlines the best link building practice for a newly built site.

The main reason for my request is that I've read conflicting information on where to build links into my website and at what frequency i.e. I have read that I should try and initially get lots of links into my inner pages first which will help the 'authority' of my home page (main keyword page). And then building up 'x' amount of links to the inner pages before getting links to the main keyword page.

Or does it really matter how you build the links into your site? I dunno, maybe all the information is junk but with your amount of experience maybe you could outline a link building 'best practice' for a new site.

Thanks and all the best
