There is an extremely low barrier or entry into the online/home business world.
You can become an affiliate of just about anything for free but it’s really the learning curve that will cost you the most.
TIME is something that is irreplaceable therefore it is the highest expense of all you can pay when building a business.
Many people I know have spent years with little to no success with their online businesses and it takes a major toll on their psyche and attitudes towards running a business.
If you’re new to having a business there is a steep learning curve with regards to your personal self-developemnt.
If you’re new to marketing on the internet, there is a steep learning curve coming to grips with all the new technical skills you need to grasp, too.
But, as one of my coaches would say, Literal Dan is about to “speak” here.
You may want to know literally, the exact cost of running an internet business, and that’s not an easy thing to determine for you without knowing what your business is about.
However, for most people the costs can be broken up into into essentials and non-essentials.
To me, the essentials are having webhosting and an autoresponder.
With these 2 items in place you now have your virtual office real estate established ( your website hosting) and a way to contact your would-be customers repeatedly ( autoresponder)
As your business grows, and I truly hope it does, you may need bigger and better hosting and perhaps entry into a membership site that teaches you what you need to know right now in order to move your business forward.
Webhosting shouldn’t cost you more than 20/month if you’re just starting out
An autopresponder won’t cost you more than 20/month if you’re just starting out either.
So, to answer this question literally, it costs 40/month ot have the bare essentials for running a home internet business…
Add in a useful membership site fee, and you could be looking at less than 100/month to get training and hosting and customer contact capabilities.
Gotta love that low barrier to entry, eh?
