OK, I just finished reading Google Sniper by George Brown and it took me 3 sittings to go through and review all 99 pages.
First off let’s verify some claims from their sales letter
Can you set up automatic money-making mini-sites in 2-3 hours with this system?
Yes, I know this for a fact and could probably do it in 35 minutes if I knew something about the niche and product(s) I was going to be promoting
Is a Google Sniper site completely 100% done after the 2-3 hours of set up?
No, it will more likely be 2-3 hours of set up (for WordPress newbies) then an additional 30 minutes to add/publish the final content piece. For someone like me it’d be a total of one hour to make a site like this.
Some questions users might want to know about the income claims of $15,000.00/month from Sniper sites:
Can you make 15k/month doing this?
Answer #1 -
I have one sniper-style/authority site that makes #1,000.00/month on autopilot and the income increases a little bit each month, so technically 15 of these would be tantamount to a 15k/month income. however, that site requires a ton of work for me but I love doing it and would do it for free just to help people out, so I probably spending more time educating on that site than I do selling.
Answer #2 – Yes, if you do your research properly and make a lot of these sites
What does George Brown’s Google Sniper ebook course tell us that’s new?
Kind of hard for me to answer that since I don’t know what i sin your head, so let me explain to you what the course covers without giving away all his content:
1- Finding a niche and it’s related keywords (this is ALWAYS the first and most important critical factor for your site’s success)
2- How to build these sites (the video modules cover this well and this info is available everywhere for free anyways)
- Why use wordPress to build sites
- Installing WordPress
- What plugins to use, how to install them, using and configuring plugins
- Designing the site
- Finding Free themes, what themes to use for certain niches
3- How to make your site sell
To me this was the real golden nugget of this course and George knows it, and even says so on page 35 of 99.
- If you build a site and nobody comes to it that means you did poor niche research, right?
- If you build a site and people come to it but don’t buy that means you aren’t convincing your site readers to buy from you, right?
The Pre-selling for 20% Conversion Rates section is something a LOT of people need to know and understand because I see a ton of people who have really crappy sites and content that I’d never even think about buying form because their content sucked, big-time.
Note: How can site content suck?
- No calls to action
- Overly pushy calls to action
- Site content didn’t make me a believer in the benefits of getting the product
- No claimed or proven proof that the product works (see bullet point above)
- …and sometimes the bonus is just terrible (unrelated + useless addition to product)
Chapter 4- SEO stuff for getting free traffic and dominating in the search engines
I know SEO pretty well and everything he says here is true, although I could add in a few things that could make it better, more powerful and more useful.
In chapter 4 of Google Sniper George writes about gathering keyword lists together using free tools, but the NEW thing I see here is he’s talking about using LSI-based keyword research.
True/False…?
He writes that getting a keyword-based domain name is the #1 most important SEO aspect to your Google Sniper site.
TRUE
He says you can extrapolate a list of related keywords to use for LSI and eventual easy rankings using Google free Keyword Rearch tool
TRUE
He says Google’s keyword tool is notoriously inaccurate when it comes to saying how many times a word is searched for each month because Google includes search partners in its volume numbers. Therefore you should shave off something like 20% off the search volume counts.
TRUE ( I was happy to see someone else besides me say that. I said that here a long time ago)
Chapter 5 – Cloaking Affiliate Links
This was a brief and important chapter that shows you how to make cloaked affiliate links at no cost to you and it’s pretty easy to do. Good thing to add in here, and something a lot of marketers, myself included don’t do (cloak aff links)
Chapters 6 +7 go over creating these sites step-by-step and then talks about the site promotion angle of things
This is where I could save you a lot of time and teach HIM and/or you a thing or two about SEO and backlinks generation, but since these sites by their very nature don’t need a lot of backlinks or promotion, what he wrote here is sufficient for niches with low-to-medium SEO competition.
Chapter 8 – What everyone really wants to know, does this work and can it turn into a 6-7 figure yearly income?
It works for him, apparently, but will it work for you?
Will it work for me with the 4 new Sniper Sites I’m going to build for this Google Sniper Case Study?
That remains to be seen, but this is definitely a good ebook to get just for the Pre-selling chapter alone.
Moving forward, I will reveal the 4 niches I decided on then make a 2-post case study to wrap things up here

George mentioned these sites dont require much work if any, you say that your site is alot of work for you. I am a newbie and i dont mind putting in the work but i dont want to get overwhelmed and discouraged. Do you think this is a good way for someone like to get started. I liked your honesty about the product and would value your opinion please. Thank you and have a great day.
@Scott, these sites do require a lot of work for the first few you put up, then they get easier. What makes it difficult for me is to fill my pages of the site with some concocted BS story that is supposed to be the pre-selling storyline that engages people and makes it seem like I’m someone else.
Putting fake names, fake pictures, fake stories basically amounts to lying and that was tough for me to do, to get into that frame of mind and be super creative and flat out lie about my name and make up a story just to sell something.
George, doesn’t impress me as someone who responds well to his customers, seeing as how he’s never returned an email from me or from several of my associates, but he’s on the forums a lot and responding to people there.
I’ve yet to meet anyone who’s making decent money with these sniper sites, of which I have made about 6, 3 of which are page 1 and getting traffic, noneof which are making money.
Sniper sites are gimmicky sites and you’d always do better to skip the fake charades and just build a resourceful quality site with a LOT of content .
Thanks,
Dan
I’m sorry i forgot to add maintenance to upkeep these sites:)
@Scott, the maintenance for these sites is minimal since they’re supposed to be ranking quite easily by themselves. I actually had to do a little bitof work to get my sites to page 1, ranked above the fold but now that they’re ranked there, there’s really not much more work that’s need to be done in that area.
Where you might find yourself doing more work is adding more content to your sniper sites because your sites might not make any money so you’ll be tempted to add more content, and adding a lot of content is the exact opposite of what sniper sites are supposed to be all about
Dan,
Thanks for being so candid with your comments. It’s hard to know who to trust when it comes to all these programs designed to teach us newbies how to get started in internet marketing. I have purchased several programs that have very little to them and didn’t teach me anything I hadn’t already learned for free on the internet. Are there any programs out there you think do a good job?

Hi Ken, it’s had to recommend a program or ebook that will answer questions specific to you. One thing that all successful marketers have going for them tough is a system or method that’s worked for them and they’ve duplicated.
One thing that CANNOT fail and can be considered evergreen advice is to focus on a target market that’s passionate and looking for solutions, then creating sites that offer these solutions.
Regarding sniper sites, I have a few as highly ranked as I want them to be (top5) for the keyword and they’re not doing well so I’m rotating some different affiliate programs now to see what fits best and make the site convert better. However, (and this is just my philosophy towards things) I like to offer what i feel is the best solution, not just the solution that converts best so I have an issue with the whole sniper method of selling whatever sells best instead of selling what is truly the best solution for people
Thanks for the reply. I’ve spent some time reading your site and have learned a lot. Thanks.
I was about to buy a program called The Minisite Formula when I found your site. Ever heard of it or know anything about that one? It sounds like Google Sniper would probably not be a good fit for me because of the approach. I don’t mind asking for the sale but I do want to be able to sleep at night.

Hey Ken,you really can learn everything you need for free from top quality blogs. If you’re interested in making mini-sites AND totally dominating niches, then you should start here > http://linkvanareviews.com/mini-net-site-building-for-easier-niche-domination then read the follow up posts, ask questions there if you need to
You seem to like Google Sniper quite a bit. Do you have any opinions on Traffic Ultimatum, the new product George Brown is releasing?
.-= Howie´s last blog ..Case Study – The Youtube Method =-.
Nope never tried it. Maybe I’ll consider buying another one of these “method” products once my sniper sites make some coin. I have 3 sites page 1 now top 3 positions and they’re not doing much for sales nor traffic. I see you registered that review domain name, so tell me have you tried the sniper method yet and if so how did that work for you?
Thanks,
Dan
is the courses worth to buy? i need some advice
I wouldn’t bother with it, it’s a tactic, not a strategy and making up false stories and selling only what sells well without consideration for the end users is a poor way to run or start a business
Hi! It seems that you have alot of knowledge on the subject, I too got wrapped up with Google Sniper and bought it. It’s already showing me false claims of a couple hours of work, it’s more like a couple weeks worth of work. And no return e-mails from George Brown himself. However moving on, it really sounds like you know what your talking about you’ve obviously been around the internet. Is there any affiliate programs out there that actually work? I need to find something that works and if none of these work then there all scams. Is it possible that you can give me a couple of names of programs? I’ve been thinking about buying a product called “Smart Subscriber” by Ian Herculson, Do you know anything about that program? I look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks
Shawn

Hey Shawn, quick question. If you’re not enthralled by it why are you promoting it on your blog?
I believe you should find someone that truly does work well FOR YOU, then tell the world about it and offer them help achieving the same success with whatever product you enjoyed success with. I’m hoping/guessing you’ve made some money online before and it any type of product helped you do that, then that’s the product you should be promoting, IMHO>
MY product the IM Toolkit, shows people how to build a real business and it has an affiliate program
Did you ever do your Google Sniper case study with 4 sites? I wasn’t able to find anything on ur site?
Hi Daniel, I like the way you broke down the chapters of Google Sniper in your review. Well done.
The next time I want to buy some software I will check with you first.
Thanks, Joseph
Thank you for the feedback Joseph
Hi Dan,
You´ve mentioned the key factor which has repelled me so far from the affiliate program at Clickbank, and it is making reviews of products that I haven´t tried, and therefore don´t know if they work or not. I see (or assume) that all these people who make reviews on products are all just making stories up, creating fake characters and situations and this is something which my ethics couldn´t stand, even if I can make a lot of money with it. Therefore my question is: is there any way to make money with affiliate programs without doing these fake reviews, even using George Brown´s method, with Google Sniper pages, but that do not include fake reviews? Would the system still work? Another thing I want to say is that I am interested in joining the Amazon affiliate program, because for what I have searched, Amazon itself gives you reviews of the products and even catalogues and the opportunity of creating a “mini-shop” with their products. The commission is way lower than with Clickbank, but the fact that I don´t have to make fake reviews means just so much for me! Still, if there is anyway to make money with Clickbank (or any other high-commision aff program) in an ethical way I would appreciate if you tell me, because a 50-75% commission is definitely the money I wanna grab! I´m a total newbie at Internet Marketing but I have searched a lot and I can´t wait to start; for what I can see you´re an ethical person like me, and you like to help others, so your honest opinion would mean a lot to me into taking a decision: which way to start?? Amazon, Clickbank, Adsense, ufff…
Good question Eduardo…
The Amazon reviews seem legitimate, therefore it’s good to add corroborating “evidence” especially if you are recommending the book.
Is there a way to make money without False reviews? Yes, but it is very costly time-wise and money-wise but you end up learning something from your trials of money-making methods, and will learn from reading the books you review, too, so if you’re positive about things, like I am, it’s a win-win situation, especially if you go into things with an open mind and are willing and CAPABLE of learning from all experiences…
An easy way to do things would be to make unique knock-offs of the get-rich-quick ebooks and sell better alternatives. So if you reviewed Google Sniper, or just bought it, and didn’t like some or ALL parts of it, then you could write and sell the Sniper alternative ebook, of your own.
In order to do this well, and to sell a GOOD product, you will be forced, by your apparent integrity…to actually develop something within yourself that makes you a more valuable person to learn from, to buy form. So, if you bought ebook XYZ, tried it and it didn’t work, now you know something worth sharing, via your trials and tribulations…and you’re most likely not alone and your troubles…whatever they might have been, are something worth sharing with others, and that’s where value comes form, and ho wit should be share,d in my opinion.
My first ebook was called the top Ten Internet Marketing Mistakes, and I built my list back in the day with this one product, and it helped develop a loyal readership base, and since it was from the heart it resonated well.
Marketing requires a different mindset and brainwaves activity than the content publishing game that is Adsense sites, so I suggest you do what fits best with your mindset and capabilities right now.
Thanks,
Dan
Hey just wondering how long did it take you after you made your site to start ranking and making money
