@Chris, Chris, good points.. I mean, you can even blog by email, crazy huh? People tend to forget that Word Press is a CMS (Content Management System) not just a site builder so there’s a lot it can do

@Chaunna Brooke, thanks for the feedback.. This is my personal experience with it and other writers seems to agree. Hopefully the post inspires people to buckle down and get their passion-niche content out there.

Thanks for stopping by,

Hey! These are brilliant tips. I agree that you really dont need to formulate keyword focused articles. Remember to write for the readers and not for the search engines. It is the readers you want to capture right? Once you gave gained considerable amount of traffic, expect high page ranking to follow.

Dan,

Nice theme dude! In this post, you are spot on...I especially like when you wrote "don't interrupt the flow" and start fixing your mistakes as you type...that is so true.

And heck, we're all people anyhow...so mistakes are part of the game.

I will be marking this post for my readers.

Dan, this is how I learned to write. So it is affirming to see you spell out the reasons it works so well.
@ Giovani, your enthusiasm just bounces off the screen. I will be checking out your LOA site soon!

Hey, Dan!

Thanks, for a little confirmation on what I do--at least, at the blog on my Ning site. I used to suck at blogging, but there I blog about something I love to write about: The Law Of Attraction!

It's gotten to the point where I decided to do a new blog on Blogger on the same subject. I just love doing it. It IS optimized (How well is another matter! Hahaha!), but this is after I've developed all that confidence. Now, I could write on the subject 'til the cows come home. :O)

I still end up writing posts that are much longer than would seem efficient. But, once I get started, I just want to share what'll be useful for the reader and fun for me. Like, yesterday and today, I was blogging about POLLYANNA, the movie and the book--and a game that came out early last century! I am simply having a ball, and I want my readers to, also.

Sunshine & Blessings,
Giovani

Good advice. I use FireFox to blog too, using ScribeFire. Blogging in a browser is so easy because the links you may need are so accessible.

BookBlogger, you know the deal, too eh? Good...

A concept I recently heard about discussed how your content can be TOO good, sometimes, too and will interfere with your selling, so there are downsides to giving away too much and providing content that's TOO good, but I think most people just need to get over the writing humps first.

I tell ya, once anyone learns how to blog, and realizes that it's not like XSitePro or Dreamweaver of whatever, where you have to hit the publish button to FTP files to site to get new pages published, then they realize that blogs really do level the playing field as far as stripping down the technical skills needed to put out good content.

And with themes like Thesis coming out, people are now seeing how their sites' money pages can look like regular html sites when the sidebars are removed...

Thanks for the feedback, and for stopping by, this seems like a popular topic

Kai, trust me on this one, ok? Just write it all out, don't let the flow stop, keep it conversational, then go back and fix anything that's needed, and use FF since it seems to do a good job of picking up the typos.

Thanks for the comment,

Dan

I agree, you can't stop your writing when you are in the flow. I just try and bang out what I have on my mind, then when I am done I go back and correct all of the spelling mistakes and fix the grammar errors.

I always fix my typos as I am writing, and that really ruins my train of thought. I have to practice not to edit my work as I go along. Thanks for the tips.
