ASD News, The Latest ASD Cash Generator News

If you’re a new reader to this blog, you may not know what ASD, or ASD Cash Generator is, but it is a program that was very popular for a while but due to mis-management and growing too fast, too soon it got shut down by the government and is now in court awaiting a decision.

For a while this site was one of the main good sources of information from the pro and con crowds, and things got heated, and rightfully so.

ASD Cash Generator, A.K.A. ASDCashGenerator, A.K.A ASD… still has a loyal following and it seems that things are still unresolved with the courts at this time.

It seems that on December 15th, ASD requested a jury trial

The most recent update as of December 18th shows that the Judge presiding over the case ordered an intial conference schedule whatever that means…

ORDER for Initial Scheduling Conference. It is hereby ORDERED that the initial scheduling conference for this matter is set for January 30, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. See attached Order for further details. Signed by Judge Rosemary M. Collyer on 12/18/08. (lcrmc1) (Entered: 12/18/2008)

This guy runs a pretty resourceful site with plenty of updates, and in keeping with the tradition of how ASD does things , his ASD news site is better than the one run by ASD itself (http://adsurfdailybreakingnews.com).

I still hold a bit of a grudge against these folks because the way they ran things is what got them into this mess, even though Andy and company seem to have had the best of intentions.

If I remember correctly Andy and company swiftly parted ways with the Golden Panda guy shortly after that site was announced and it’s my opinion that ASD bailed on that relationship/partnership because of the totally 100% unsustainable nature of that program’s structure (something like 5% daily for 60 days, whatever, doesn’t matter, just ridiculous..)

When Golden Panda and ASD got braced by the authorities and both were shut down, it was the Golden Panda program that quickly succumbed and folded under the pressure.

…but it was Andy and ASD that stayed and fought, and are now seeking a jury trial. I’m not sticking up for ASD’s biz model or even the industry itself, but when you seek a jury trial and hope to win when up against the U.S. government, that shows me that they at least believe in their cause.

However, moving forward… it seems to me that ASD is either being told to not post to their updates site by their attorneys or it’s the same old ASD not taking care of business properly with regular informative updates like the ones that can be seen at a real ASD News site (http://www.thejoyluckclub.com/ASD_Latest_News.htm )

I’ve been contacted by many of the people reading this blog from way back when the s**t was hitting the fan with ASD going down, and some of those people are still looking for similar systems but with ridiculous payouts like the Golden Panda program was trying to do.

When will people learn? ASD was unique, but flawed, and any other copycat programs are doomed to the same treatment that ASD got if they ever last long enough to get noticed by the authorities.

From that good ASD News Site, here is the site owner’s opinion from the latest from the judge:

It sounds to me the Judge doesn’t want to rule over this case, and is trying to suggest alternative methods for settlement. Below is a quote from the newly released court doc Dec 18th:

“In considering the case’s suitability for the various forms of alternative dispute resolution, counsel are reminded that among their options are mediation, arbitration, early neutral evaluation, summary jury trial, or any other form of alternative dispute resolution that can be tailored to the needs of their case.”

Below is the last statement from the Judge at the evidentiary hearing:

“Let’s assume it’s wire fraud, that they are right. But if it is wire fraud or a ponzi, you are asking for 2 or 3 million dollars? I’ll take it as indeterminable fact then. If that’s so, why isn’t it possible to negotiate. But why isnt there a settlement discussion rather than a compliance plan. The Judge also said, I’ve not made decision yet.”

There is also a forum that is basically acting in a coat-holding capacity for ASD and only posting the positive thoughts and not really giving up any good information like access and downloads of court documents. That forum is at http://theprivateforum.com but be aware of the fact that since ASD is dead in the water for a while, they’ll be pushing you towards other types of programs in same industry.

I’ll try to come back and update this post every once in a while even though I’d rather not bring the level of content on this blog down by writing about programs in an industry I don’t recommend you getting your hopes up for.
